John "Sonny" Louis native of Haughton, La. A Philanthropist, Humanitarian, Founder and CEO of Kold Front Enterprise, LLC whose well known for many of his accomplishments through athleticism, community services, humanitarian efforts and military service with also retiring in over 26 years working in homeland security.
John "Sonny" Louis has always been noted for high expectations such as Bossier Press Football Outstanding Offensive player of the year at Haughton High School. He held astounding records as Running Back and Linebacker for Haughton High School in 1974.
In 1976, he received Will Hammer Edition’s High School All-American award in recognition of outstanding ability in Football, sportsmanship, and community outreach. While playing Defensive Back in 1977, he was selected as an East-West All Star Football Player in Baton Rouge, LA. (LSU Stadium)
For his athleticism, John "Sonny" Louis was given a four year athletic scholarship where he majored in Industrial Technology at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA.
At Northwestern State University, John played Defensive Back for the university's football team between 1977-1981; John "Sonny" Louis held multiple school single games, season and career records at Northwestern State University. John "Sonny" Louis was a football team captain at Northwestern State University in 1979 where he was a football punt return and interception leader in 1981. His accomplishments were posted on Northwestern State University Archives as ROTC Top Recruit in 1982.
Based on his success collegiate career, John "Sonny" Louis, in 1983, was given the opportunity to play Defensive Back for Shreveport Steamer (AFA), American Semi- Pro Football Team.
In 1982, he joined the United States Army National Guard where he was later commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant. He received recognition for his Scholarly Achievements and Outstanding Performance at Fort Riley while attending Riley ROTC Advanced Camp in Fort Riley, Kansas.
Among those great achievements, John "Sonny" Louis was a Public Speaker at Wiley College’s Theatrical Art Class in Marshall, Texas in 2015 while also he sponsored “Staircase to Stardom” Film and Entertainment Industry Event in Shreveport, La. John provided memorabilia for the "30 for 30" story of the College Football Legend, "Joe Delaney." He also participated as Guest Speaker for Film Production of “30 for 30” Film Panel in 2015 at Northwestern State University. Continuing in his community outreach efforts, he has sponsored Dreamworks’ Gymnastics Academy’s Competitive Team in Ocean Springs, MS in the year 2016 and has sponsored the 11/12-year old's All Star Boys Baseball Team in Deridder, La in 2017. His humanitarian efforts also sponsored the 4th Annual Education Fundraiser Gala for Tuskegee Airmen Incorporated in 2017 based in Louisville, Kentucky.
Serving the Community, John "Sonny" Louis has provided his contribution in sponsoring Awards for Mahogany Ensemble Theatre/Oratory Competition and Youth Leadership Event in Shreveport, La in 2017. Not long after, he later sponsored Literary Books of "Momma, I Should Have Listened" to Community Youth Revival in New Orleans, La in 2019.
As a lifetime Membership of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Mr. Louis continues to set examples of strive in growing his companies to its highest level of being the CEO – Kold Front Enterprises, LLC since 2012. With retiring from the United States Department of Homeland Security, he became the CEO of Kold Front Apparel, LLC Clothing Lines in 2017.
With skills attained, he became a Correction Officer for the Federal Bureau of Prison in 1990-1996 in which he later pursued a position as a Federal Agent for the Department of Homeland Security in 1996-2016.
John "Sonny" Louis has definitely made positive and inspiring marks with his family through athleticism, community services, humanitarian efforts along with his military service.
As he continuously leads his legacy, his motto stands "a positive mindset brings positive things."
John "Sonny" Louis always excelled beyond expectations from Haughton High to Northwestern University.
